The Bridgekeeper wasn't just about squares, he also taught circles:
Sometimes he just makes up the rules as he goes along:
It's a pity that the Bridgekeeper didn't take this concept further and make demands based on Pythagoras' theorems or the Golden Ratio. Even better: "No one passes this bridge by me, unless he or she can solve Fermat's Last Theorem. I am the Bridgekeeper!" (crack of thunder)
Tomorrow, we meet Kermit The Frog and learn a hilarious lesson about spelling that could just as easily have been a Muppet Show sketch as a Sesame Street one. More math the day after that, with the first of my posts on Square One, the show that taught me to love math.
My, what a complicated Munky!
